Father of Two Goes Missing in Bengaluru, Family Seeks Police Help

Charilam: A father of two from the Nonjala area of Bishramganj has been missing for the past 15 days after travelling to Bengaluru for work. Ibrahim Hossain, also known as Robel, has reportedly been out of contact with his family, as his mobile phone has remained switched off. Concerned over his whereabouts, his family approached Bishramganj Police Station on Sunday night, seeking assistance in tracing him.

According to family members, Ibrahim had been working in Bengaluru for around seven months. However, all communication with him suddenly ceased about 15 days ago. His father, Tapan Mia, mother, Ranjana Begum, and wife, Rusna Begum, have repeatedly tried to contact him over the phone, but his number has remained switched off.

The family has also contacted relatives, acquaintances and friends of Ibrahim in Bengaluru, including people familiar with his workplace. Despite repeated efforts, they have so far been unable to obtain any information about his whereabouts.

His father, Tapan Mia, has been searching for his son and making enquiries through various contacts, but without success. Meanwhile, his wife, Rusna Begum, is facing mounting anxiety as she struggles to care for their two young children in his absence. The couple's five-year-old son, Arban Hossain, and two-year-old son, Aman Hossain, have reportedly been repeatedly asking for their father.

On Sunday night, Ibrahim's mother, Ranjana Begum, lodged a General Diary (GD) at Bishramganj Police Station, requesting police intervention to trace her son. She has made an emotional appeal to the police to take necessary steps to locate him and ensure his safe return to the family.

Ibrahim's sudden disappearance has caused concern in the Nonjala area, while his family continues to await news of his whereabouts.
