Youth Seriously Injured as Baleno Hits Motorcycle
A 20-year-old youth sustained serious injuries after a motorcycle collided with a Maruti Suzuki Baleno car in front of the new petrol pump at Bishramganj on Tuesday evening. The injured youth has been identified as Amarjit Debbarma, son of Uttam Debbarma, and a resident of Pushkarbari in Bishramganj.

The injured youth has been identified as Amarjit Debbarma, son of Uttam Debbarma, and a resident of Pushkarbari in Bishramganj.
According to eyewitnesses, a Baleno bearing registration number TR-07-F-0646 was moving at high speed when it rammed into the motorcycle. The impact threw Amarjit off the bike onto the National Highway, leaving him seriously injured and bleeding on the road. He was immediately rescued and taken to the Bishramganj Primary Health Centre. However, as his condition was reported to be critical, he was referred to GBP Hospital in Agartala for advanced treatment.
Meanwhile, a series of road accidents on the National Highway under Bishramganj police station limits has triggered concern among local residents. They alleged that accidents are occurring almost every day in the area, with the number of such incidents continuing to rise. Residents have urged the authorities to take stricter measures to regulate speeding vehicles and improve road safety.
